West Side Story
West Side Story is possibly one of the best films ever created!
I have a week full of finals and it is the perfect background noise while I'm studying (I've already watched it twice in two days!). It’s like listening to a favorite CD WITH visuals ... when I get bored I just glance over at the screen and watch the Jets battle the Sharks, watch Tony hold his new love, watch Maria dream of marriage, or watch a group of Puerto Ricans dance the Mambo in a school gym. It just doesn’t get any better than that!

Finally, a woman after my own heart. It doesn't matter how many times you've seen the story of Tony and Maria, it inevitably becomes a passion!...cause when you're a Jet, you're a Jet all the way...I salute you for saluting the miracle that is West Side Story.
Oh, Brittne! How I love thee! We MUST get together and watch this movie again .... soon!!!
I like most musicals ... but, West Side Story is by far the best (I'm watching it again right now!)
*sigh* why must it all turn to tragedy though? Oh how I love a happy ending, and alas none is to be found in this story of love that would never be!
But I sure do like all that snapping action in one movie. Who can hate on snapping? None, I say, not one!
hmm.. . . I've never seen West Side Story, but I do love My Fair Lady. I even have it on DVD. . . such a guy huh? -
I know "The Family Man" isn't a musical, but I think that is a great movie to watch around this time in the background as well. . .

I think "It's a Wonderful Life" is the best background movie to play during this season...it makes me cry every single stinkin time I watch it...I know I know, I'm such a NERD!!!

I just watched that movie last night. I've decided to make it my CHRISTmas tradition. Every CHRISTmas from this point on I'm going to watch "It's a Wonderful Life."
