a birthday in carlsbad

I took Nic to Carlsbad to celebrate his 24th birthday a few weeks ago :) We had a delicious breakfast, went to the Museum of Making Music (they gave us two kazoos for a birthday present!), rented bikes from some shady bike shop and rode along the ocean and through some reeds near a lagoon. We ended the night with incredible Mexican food at Garcia's. It was a great day!! Enjoy the photos ...

Whoa.... Nic cut his hair!!! He's been growing it for, like, forever!!!

Oh - sorry, didn't mean to focus on him. It's your blog, after all.

Let's see, uh.... "Whoa, your hair is, like, long, still. And blond-ish. Still. Intense." ;)

Exotic animals? Riiight...

Whoa... we totally just cross-commented. It's like the cyberspace version of running into each other in the grocery store.

FYI: my email got bombarded with spam this week so my account was automatically disabled ... it has prevented me from accessing my blog and has now removed some of my pictures for some reason :( lame!

Please pray that I can have access to both my email and my blog again!

So I'm assuming by the order of the pictures, the exotic animal is the one sitting amongst the flowers in the following pictures.

Also, tell Nic that I think he looks like a young MacGyver with his hair cut. Seriously, he'll be thrilled.

Also, the word verification to post this says to type the word 'lghmeift'... While I'm not the greatest linguist in the world, I don't believe I've ever heard of that word before.

Also, I like horses.

I'm seriously laughing SO hard. Such great pictures. It's like you guys are on safari.. if safari was made of dead weeds.. and if there had been a lion. Was there a lion?
